A Charleston Creative: Art that Connects History, Place & Emotion

As an artist deeply inspired by Charleston’s charm, I create works that blend architectural elegance, coastal beauty, and vibrant color to evoke joy, nostalgia, and connection. My journey began with hand-drawn pen-and-ink illustrations of the city’s historic gates—capturing their intricate ironwork and timeless symmetry. Over time, my work expanded to include expressive acrylic landscapes and watercolor illustrations, each infused with the rhythm of Charleston’s streets, steeples, and seascapes.

My art is a bridge between past and present, honoring the city’s history while bringing fresh perspectives to collectors, galleries, and gift shops. Through collaborations with local businesses like The Southern Welcome and the Gibbes Museum, as well as participation in the Charleston Artist scene, Redux Contemporary Art Center and Mount Pleasant Artist Guild, I actively contribute to the city’s creative community.

With every brushstroke, I strive to celebrate Charleston’s beauty and inspire others to see its details in a new light. I would be honored to share my work with Charleston magazine’s readers and continue growing as a creative voice in this vibrant city.
