I am a Charleston maker because this city continually invigorates me to create. The Lowcountry is a beautiful backdrop to my life—its coastal light, architecture, interiors, hospitality, and culture constantly stimulating my eye. But even more meaningful is how deeply people here value art. The enthusiasm Charleston collectors, designers, and community have shown for my work has given me greater confidence and freedom as an artist. From my home studio, I create faith-rooted paintings inspired by the beauty, people, and creative spirit of the place I’m grateful to call home.
