I've been painting since an early age. Five years ago our company, Sugar Pea Studios, began hand painting oyster shells and hand crafted jewelry. Why oyster shells? Why not? What makes us unique is that I actually hand paint and sign each piece (never decoupage). I want to make sure my patrons have a guaranteed one of a kind piece of artwork with each purchase. I get to do what I love, upcycle in the process and make people happy with the work of my hands..and that makes my soul smile.
